Parents Coalition for Excellence Mission Statement The Parents Coalition for Excellence (PCE) is a collaborative effort of parents and community members working together to provide a nurturing, motivating, and supportive force in the lives of African-American and other minority students designed to increase their academic and personal success. The mission of PCE is to: Ø Enhance the overall achievement of African-American and other minority students of Green Hope High School. Ø Assure that students, parents/guardians are empowered through an intimate knowledge of the inner working of the educational establishment. Ø Establish support programs that focus on leadership, achievement, self-esteem, accountability and tolerance. Ø Foster a climate that stresses the importance of promoting excellence from all of our students regardless of origins. Ø Emphasize the importance of persistence to success in life.
